Major Accomplishments

Induz and its volunteers pride itself in strong event management capabilities. In the last 5 years, Induz organized several events . Events were held at CET Auditorium, San Jose, Santa Clara Convention Center, TiE, Santa Clara Fairgrounds, Avalon Lounge, and Sunnyvale Indo-American Auditorium.

Kria World Fusion Music and Dance Concert, 20th September 2008

Kria Details

A fundraiser to benefit the Tulika Project in Assam, India and future bay area art programs. The concert was comprised of a diverse group of musicians and dancers across the globe that have shared their distinct talents with one another and collectively produced a unique performance masterpiece. It was an extraordinary night of elegantly blended world music and fusion dance.

Musicians & Performers who rocked the crowd: Abhishek Basu; internationally acclaimed tabla player and composer and Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya; world renowned grammy nominee, santoor maestro who has performed with musical legends Ravi Shankar and George Harrison of the Beatles.
Accompanied by Sacramento jazz musicians; Jim Wendt on keyboard and Erik Everett on drums.
With a vibrant and gifted dance team lead by Shivani Thakkar; dancer, choreographer, and actress, Project Pulse; Bay Area dance and drama company,Holly Shaw; San Franciscan flamenco dancer and Katy Barnhill, multi faceted & award winning dancer/choreographer.
We were pleased to have honorary guest; Faran Tahir, actor in Iron Man, Lost, and Star Trek XI.
The event also showcased a live Auction of art exhibits from renowned artists.

Induz LifeStyle Carnivale Sept 2007

A whole day fundraiser event that supported non-profits Sankara Eye Foundation and Bring Me A Book Foundation. Other local nonprofits were invited to promote and build awareness of their organization and their cause. The event encompassed all aspects of the bay area lifestyle with focus on family living, fashion, health & beauty, cuisine, education & learning, business & technology, music & entertainment. It featured international food, dance competition, carnival games, magic show, story telling, and kids & adult fashion show where fashion designs by Swati Couture, Pink Blossoms, and other local designers were featured. The event launched Induz Idols talent contest in music and dance. The event was held on September 8, 2007 and attended by 1,000 children and adults.

World Fashion & Dance Show 2006

A fundraiser world fashion show event that showcased international fashions including the designs of Swati Couture, F4Nada, and Satya Paul. The event also featured local dancers and models. The event was in support of Association for India's Development (AID) to support the socio-economic programs of AID in India.

CRY Dhamaka 2004

Induz helped Child Relief and You (CRY) in organizing and planning their annual CRY Dhamaka fundraiser event.
