Dear Induz Members,
We have some very exciting announcements about new projects to take place in Bangalore, India, and in the Bay Area that will start in the next couple months.
Induz is a 501 c 3 non-profit in the bay area with the mission to connect people and cultures through art. Our initiatives focus on providing art, music education for underprivileged children.
Tulika Project -- Induz, in partnership with Intuit, will launch the second Tulika Project, an art and music program for an orphanage in Bangalore, India on Aug 1st 2009. (The first was in Assam, which is still continuing.)
"Adopt-a-School" program -- Induz is teaming up with the Mountain View Center of Music and Arts to launch the "Adopt-a-School" program in September 2009. Induz will sponsor a low-income school in San Jose for an after-school art programs. Schools have been deeply impacted by the California budget cuts, and we hope our work will help keep some art programs alive.
Karaoke Night -- "Sing for Art," Induz's monthly karaoke night will kick off Saturday, July 18 6 PM at the Indian Summer restaurant in Milpitas (1380 S Main Street). Besides providing a platform/venue for all music enthusiasts, the event aims to raise awareness and funds for Induz projects.

Induz Open House - Luau and Pool Party: Do you want to learn more about Induz? Do you want to get involved or support Induz? Or Have you volunteer for Induz in the past?
Induz will host an open house and volunteer appreciation party. Join us on Saturday, July 25, 12 Noon, at the Fair Oaks West Cabana Party Hall in Sunnyvale for a Luau and Pool Party with complementary food and drinks, hula performance and lessons, games, music, and more. Children are welcome. If you have already volunteered with Induz in the past this is an excellent opportunity to reconnect and ignite your passion for charity! Space is limited, so reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. RSVP at ray@induz.org
Fundraisers/Volunteers Needed -- We are looking for volunteers/sponsors to join the team and work with us for the Diwali fashion show and the New Year's party fundraisers. Volunteers are also needed for the San Jose “Adopt A School” program.
